Armand Séguin is a microbiologist by training and working in the field of molecular biology, particularly forest genomics, for the past 25 years. His research program centers in understanding the signalization and molecular mechanisms of environmental responses in trees (poplars and conifers). Studies carried out in his laboratory have helped advance knowledge in tree genomics and supported scientific expertise in Canada in the field of the regulation of genetically modified trees.
